Well, winter is over and if you’re like us, you’re itching to get back to Moon Lake. We have been up a few times so far, but have had to hike in each time. The snow is still too deep to drive all the way, but it is melting a little each day. By the way, it sure is pretty up there even in the winter. Here are a few pictures of our adventures so far.
As of today, we are still planning to open on May 22nd. We are mindful of the pandemic and we hope it is well on its way out by then, but we are taking precautions for COVID19 such as disinfecting all the surfaces in each cabin between guests and providing hand sanitizer and soap in each cabin as well. We will take additional steps as required by the local health department, state and national guidelines which might affect the lodge and other public areas. We will keep you posted here and in the newsletter as time goes on.
We have heard from many of you and it seems you all are ready to get out of quarantine and are excited about your 2020 Moon Landing. We are impressed with how many of you return year after year–some haven’t missed a year in 50 years! We feel blessed to be able to help carry on that tradition and pray everyone stays safe and this pandemic gets over soon and that we can all return to “normal”.
See you soon!
