PLEASE Follow THESE Directions:

(*See Warning and Notes Below)

Arrive in Duchesne via US 40 from Heber and Park City. At (traffic light)intersection of US-40 and SR-87 in Duchesne, head NORTH (left) on 87. Proceed NORTH, passing a small sign for Talmage (about 13-15 miles) on 87. A short distance beyond the Talmage sign on 87, the road bends left and downhill. The road horseshoe bends at the bottom of the hill and then comes uphill again. Look for a sign on the right side of the road as you near the top of the hill (easy to miss). At top of the hill, TURN LEFT onto road to MOON LAKE and MOUNTAIN HOME.

If you MISS this left turn, you will see an LDS church on the right side of the road within a minute. TURN AROUND HERE, go back and then it'll be a right turn up to Mt. Home. Continue NORTH about 3 1/2 miles to the T in the road. TURN RIGHT at the T From here, as long as you are on pavement, you will find us in about 16 miles. YEP, THAT'S RIGHT! THE ROAD TO MOON LAKE IS PAVED ALL THE WAY!
ALSO: Wolf Creek Pass (SR 35) from Francis through Tabiona to SR 87 is a scenic alternative to US 40 . The road is nicely paved, possibly shortening the drive to and from the Park City area by about one half hour and providing more varied and wooded scenery than US 40. Check Highway Patrol for road conditions in early Spring and late Fall.

From Roosevelt on US 40 you can follow signs that will take you on county back roads through Bluebell to Altamont and Mt. Home (tricky unless you're handy with a map).

The EASIER ROUTE is to go West on US 40 to the edge of Roosevelt City. Turn NORTH (right) onto SR 87 at sign to MOON LAKE/MOUNTAIN HOME/Big Sand Lake/Ioka/Upalco,etc.
Proceed North and West on 87 through Altamont (about 15-20 minutes). (Swasey's Grocery in Altamont is a good last stop for supplies).
About 6 miles west of Altamont, you will pass an LDS church on the left side of the road. Within a minute, you TURN RIGHT at the sign showing Mt. Home, Moon Lake, Rock Creek. (NOTE: If you go downhill into a horseshoe bend, you missed the turn)
Continue NORTH about 3 1/2 miles to the T in the road. TURN RIGHT at the T. From here, as long as you are on pavement, you will find us in about 16 miles.
