DIRECTIONS TO MOON LAKE

FROM THE WEST:

At intersection of US-40 and SR-87 in Duchesne, head north on 87.
Proceed NORTH past sign for Talmage (about 13-15 miles) on 87.
Beyond Talmage sign on 87, the road bends left and downhill.
Road horseshoe bends at bottom of hill and then comes uphill again.
Look for a sign on right side of 87 as you near the top of the hill.
At top of hill, TURN LEFT on to road to MOON LAKE and MOUNTAIN HOME.
Continue NORTH about 3 1/2 miles to the T in the road. TURN RIGHT at T.
From here, as long as you are on pavement, you will find us in about 15 miles.
YEP, THAT'S RIGHT! THE ROAD TO MOON LAKE IS NOW PAVED ALL THE WAY!

ALSO: Wolf Creek Pass (SR 35) from Francis through Tabiona to SR 87 is a scenic alternative to US 40 . The road is newly paved, possibly shortening the drive to and from the Park City area by about one half hour and providing more varied and wooded scenery than US 40.
Check Highway Patrol for current road conditions.

FROM THE EAST:

From Roosevelt on US 40 you can follow signs that will take you on county roads either through Bluebell or Upalco to Altamont (a little tricky unless you're handy with a map).
Proceed west through Altamont on SR 87.
Turn right onto road at sign to MOON LAKE and MOUNTAIN HOME.
Continue NORTH about 3 1/2 miles to the T in the road. TURN RIGHT at T.
From here, as long as you are on pavement, you will find us in about 15 miles.

NOTE: WATCH YOUR SPEED 20 MILES WEST OR EAST OF DUCHESNE, Especially On A FRIDAY Or SATURDAY Evening. The Utah State Highway Patrol Does An EXCELLENT Job Of Enforcing Speed Limits On This Stretch Of US 40.
